After a two-year hiatus, the Montreux Jazz Festival will return to the banks of Lake Geneva from July 1 to 16, 2022. After more than half a century of being the driving force of the European music scene, this 56th edition was particularly expected to mark a real return to the world of the past. With its eclectic and unprecedented program, the Festival returns to its two emblematic venues, the Auditorium Stravinski and the Montreux Jazz Lab, as well as a multitude of free stages around them. This cultural lung offers a mix of genres and encounters between internationally renowned artists, young local nuggets, and their faithful public. On the rhythms of pop, jazz, rock, disco and many other atmospheres, headliners such as A-HA John Legend or Gregory Porter parade in this exceptional setting.
This palette of heterogeneous artists paraded in front of the lens of Michel Juvet, a photographer with unconventional shots. A great music lover and unconditional fan of the Montreux Jazz Festival, he was able to capture these unique moments in images that are as instinctive as they are powerful. A first for NOW Village!
A digital photographic exhibition in two parts will allow you to discover this strong musical parenthesis or to relive the vibrant concerts of this year’s Montreux Jazz Festival.
