The Geneva Book Fair will be back at Palexpo from March 22 to 26, 2023. This festive and convivial event aims to bring together all publics around reading, without distinction, and will be free for all!
This new edition is an opportunity to meet more than 250 Swiss and French-speaking authors, 260 exhibitors around the book, publishing houses and bookstores, all gathered to celebrate literature in Switzerland.s tous ses états.
A rich and plural program to vary the pleasures, but also to gather around fascinating exchanges and exciting animations. Monica Sabolo and Joann Sfar will be the two guests of honor and will participate in interesting meetings surrounded by other exciting authors during the whole period of the fair.
Numerous exhibitions and activities are also dedicated to young people, with the added bonus of an opportunity for young people to have their book or comic book signed by their favorite author or cartoonist. On March 25th at 11am, you will have the opportunity to test your grammar and spelling by taking part in the great spelling test, starting at age 13.
New spaces, such as the Forum, the Boudoir and the Loges, will host unique meetings in original formats. They will join the comic book stage, Bien-vivre, Suisse and the African salon, as well as the partner stages (CICAD, Cercle de la librairie et de l’édition Genève, Îlot Jeunesse de Payot Libraire and ICAM), which will present a generous and lively program, with the participation of numerous authors representing the great diversity of the writings of our time.
