Her expressive paintings, their symbolism, their sumptuous plants and colored animals as well as her famous self-portraits are unveiled to the public in this unique exhibition, combining video projections, a first-person narration and an original musical score.

Viva Frida Kahlo offers an exceptional dive into the world of the legendary painter, born in Mexico in 1907 and who died prematurely at 47. In her constant quest for freedom, creation and beauty, despite a life affected by tragic events, Frida Kahlo marked her era with her art and her commitment. She remains today a feminist icon and a major artistic figure. From her childhood in Mexico to her relationship with Diego Rivera, through her illness and her accident with dramatic repercussions, the artist’s journey is told through her key works. A first-person narration by a voice incarnating Frida Kahlo guides visitors through the rich iconography and associated themes. A musical score specially created for this project accompanies the visit.
