L’Association Genevoise des Amis du Salève
For the more sporty, the Association Genevoise des Amis du Salève offers free hikes, guided by regulars of the Salève. Every Sunday, the hikers meet at 10 am at the terminus of bus 8 in Veyrier-Douane. There is no need to register in advance, a member of the association will be there (provided you are on time). However, the Association Genevoise des Amis du Salève recommends good walking shoes and one or two walking sticks. It is also advisable to take a picnic because, depending on the chosen circuit, it takes 5 to 8 hours of walking!

Le Jardin Botanique
In Lausanne, the botanical garden welcomes young and old for a moment of escape and sweetness. This garden, described as a corner of paradise in the heart of the city, is a place where one can admire the plants while enjoying a calmness that makes one forget the turmoil of the city. Here, nearly 6,000 alpine, medicinal, carnivorous and tropical plants burst with color. Until October 31st, the botanical garden of Lausanne offers you an exhibition called “Trésor Végétal” which deals with endangered species in Switzerland and invites you to take part in the conservation of our threatened plants.

La Ruche Sportive
For children who like to exercise, the Ruche Sportive in Renens offers fields days adapted for each age. La Ruche Sportive is an innovative multisport concept, focusing on the art of movement and sport in its entirety. The programs start with the discovery of movement with baby gym classes (1 to 4 years old), up to the improvement with multisport programs (4 to 12 years old). There is no competition here, only the discovery of the body, movement, flexibility, and fun! La Ruche Sportive also offers vacation courses, to allow children to learn or improve in various sports such as trampoline, climbing, gymnastics, parkour, ball games…
